Our rose show was held on October 8, 2005 at the Castaic Union School District in Valencia. It was a smashing success! 36 exhibitors entered 750 high quality blooms. We gave a free rose bloom to every visitor who attended, and a free bouquet of roses to every new member who joined that day.
Our awesome rose show team: Kym Pongalek (judges breakfast and lunch), Leota DeCuir (dismantling), Janice Goetze (rose sales and bouquets), Jan Parsoneault, (clerk, set up and dismantling), Elissa Siefert, (clerks, set up and dismantling, Karen T.S. Gubert (set up and dismantling), Bob Belendez (transportation, properties, set up, clean up, and dismantling), and Steve Jones (clean up and dismantling). Ingrid Gonzalez (trophies & calligraphy), Suzanne Miladin (runners), Candy & David LaChance (set up, placement, exhibitor donuts), and Bud Jones (judges). Kitty Belendez was Show Chair, schedule, publicity, and venue coordination.
